(1) Autonomous Shuttle Fleet Integration: Building the platform services that onboard, register, and manage BENTELER/HOLON autonomous shuttles as first-class entities in Lyft's fleet — including vehicle state management, capability discovery, operational status tracking, and fleet lifecycle management.

(2) Dual-Mode Dispatching (AV + Human): Designing and building the dispatch engine that intelligently routes rider requests to either autonomous shuttles or human drivers based on route complexity, AV coverage zones, vehicle availability, rider preference, and real-time fleet conditions — the most complex dispatching system in transportation.

(3) Safety Monitoring Systems: Creating real-time safety monitoring infrastructure that continuously evaluates autonomous shuttle performance, detects anomalies, triggers safety interventions, and ensures regulatory compliance — with sub-second response requirements for safety-critical events.
